Cruella De Vil, fur loving monster, has her heart set on a fabulous new coat made from the fur of Dalmatian puppies.

When their litter of puppies mysteriously disappear, Dalmatians Pongo and Perdita, rally all the dogs of London for a daring puppy rescue from the evil Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.

Stage Spy: Is 101 Dalmatians The Musical set for a UK Tour? It looks like the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's production of 101 Dalmatians The Musical is heading out on tour in 2024. Dates are on sale for the Theatre Royal Norwich and Grand Opera House Belfast, and it's assumed many more dates and venues are to be announced. Based on the much-loved book by Dodie Smith, and turned into a number of blockbuster movies by Disney, 101 Dalmatians The Musical has been adapted by Zinnie Harris, and boasts music and lyrics by actor, writer and composer Douglas Hodge, and a book by Johnny McKnight. The show proved a crowd-pleaser with critics and audiences at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in the Summer of 2022 starring Kate Fleetwood as Cruella de Vil, and directed by the Open Air's outgoing Artistic Director Timothy Sheader, who takes up the top job at the Dommar Warehouse this March. Wheel of Time and Brave New World actress Kate Fleetwood will star as Cruella de Vil in the show. Originally scheduled to open last year, the highly anticipated musical stage adaptation has now been postponed a second time due to the 'practical' and 'financial' risks of staging the show in the ongoing pandemic.
