Does Cash App work internationally?

You can use your Cash App account to send money from the US to the UK or vice versa. Other destination countries and currencies are not supported by Cash App.

To make cross border payments with Cash App, both the sender and the recipient need their own Cash App accounts.

Here’s how it works. Let’s say you want to send a payment from the US to a Cash App user in the UK. You set up the transfer as normal, and the app will automatically convert the payment based on the mid-market exchange rate at the time the transfer is initiated. Your friend in the UK will then receive the funds into their Cash App account in British pounds.
