Capybaras are adapted for life on regularly flooded savannahs. They’re semi aquatic mammals, found swimming in rivers. Their physical adaptations are: their toes are partly webbed for swimming, their fur is brittle, to dry fast on land, their sense organs are located on top of their head to peek out of the water to see if a predator is near. They’re behavioral adaptations are: they eat their poop to double digest because the grass they eat is hard to digest. A physiological adaptation is that its insulin tells the cells to divide, making the cell growth giant.The Capybaras habitat flooded, the grassland is under water. Now aquatic mammals, the Capybara eats minos, underwater grasses, and moss. Physical adaptations are: gills to breathe underwater, thin fur for faster swimming, sense organs located middle of the head, toes fully webbed, and tail a fin.
