One of the most common requests I receive is for “no bake” healthy snack recipes that can be made without a stove, without an oven, and without a microwave. Normally, each time someone asks for ideas, I respond with a long list of healthy snack recipes from my site… but then the commenter has to search for each of the links individually. So finally I’ve put all the no-bake healthy snack recipes in one place. This post is long overdue!

    I make your Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies all the time for my mommy. They make such a nice snack to grab out of the freezer. I’ve also made the pumpkin pie resees and love them.

      The same thing happened to me when I clicked on that picture. There was also another link that didn’t work. It was for what look like peanut butter cups but had a white filling and when I clicked on it it just took me to an enlarged version of the photo.

    This is post is timed perfectly, with the summer heat the last thing I want is to turn on the oven or stove…but still make delicious desserts! I made the peanut butter pie a few weeks ago for a birthday party and it was a wild success. Thanks for the amazing recipes!

    What a great post! It’s too hot where I am to turn on the oven. In this heat, I’m drawn to your avocado ice cream, 4 minute macaroons, and birthday cake rice krispies! Other than that, I go for hummus and veggies, coleslaw (with oil and apple cinder vinegar), and seasonal fruit (strawberries!). Any plans on making a stove top cookie? Or strawberry cobbler/short cake? I’m gluten free, sugar free, vegan so I appreciate how adaptable your recipes are. Keep up the amazing work!

    I love your recipes , they rock, I have just one question, I have tried lots of sweets with beans, and no matter how long I rinse the beans , they all still have a funky bean like aftertaste, do I just have weirdly sensitive taste buds?

      Puree Black Beans in Food Processor until Whipped&Smooth use in BROWNIES w/Cocoa Makes a Nice Dark Chocolate Flavour! Chocolate Hides Bean taste.

    Hi!
    I was just wondering about some substitutions. In some of your delish – looking pie recipes, you call for tofu. I can’t eat soy. Soooooo…………Mushrooms??????? Could that POSSIBLY work?! Like, maybe canned, and then blended smooth in the food processor?? Or, even if the texture was OK, would the taste be WAY TO overpowering? What do you think?

    I guess if mushrooms don’t work, I can always just use soaked nuts, beans (the texture wouldn’t work for your Ultimate Fudge Pie, though) or bananas. (Except the bananas carry a flavor.)
    I just thought, mushrooms in a pie? I mean, if it worked and tasted awesome, I would have the joy of my life watching people’s eyes pop out when I tell them what’s in it. 🙂 🙂 🙂

    So, I was thinking…..The texture of a beet (cooked) is lucious, (please excuse the spelling) rich, smooth, and buttery. Sweet, too. So, imagine a beet, sweet, lucious, rich, smooth and buttery, put in the food processor. IF it works how I’m imagining it, and IF the taste was changeable to something else……Imagine the endless possibilities…..Beet ice cream, beet pie, ………………… I was just brainstorming. Thought I’d share. Can’t wait for the garden to hurry up so I can cook some beets!

    I was inspired by your recipe for sugarless chocolate candy bars but didn’t want to use coconut oil and all that saturated fat. So I experimented with olive oil and cocoa powder and powdered artificial sweetner and froze it. Super creamy and YUM with no hint of olive taste! It is one part oil to two parts cocoa and one packet sweetner per Tablespoon of cocoa.

    What great ideas for easy snacks! I’ve made your recipes for the no-bake peanut butter cookies, the no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies, and the German chocolate no-bake cookies before–absolutely delicious. I actually didn’t even bother to make them into cookies–I just kept the dough in the fridge for when I needed a bite of something sweet! Thanks for all the great recipes!:)
